With the usual mixture of players from the senior squad and the youth teams, Grays progressed to the 5th Round of the Essex Senior Cup by virtue of second half goals from Luke Woodward and Will Hendry(from a penalty kick). The Ryman Division 1 North side put up a spirited showing but their Conference visitors had a little too much nous and power for them.
