Ground development - photo update

 Following on from last week's visit to the Rec by senior-ranking Nationwide Conference officials, we have some pictures of the "New" Recreation Ground, including the new terracing and the beginnings of the 1,000 seater stand.
The work is due to be complete well before Christmas; by which time, the Club is aiming to achieve Conference National status for its Bridge Road facilities.

At the Bridge Road end, the terracing is being upgraded with smart block paving.
The walkways around the ground are being supplemented with terraces to increase capacity.
The pitch has been moved to make way for a covered terraced area at the ballcourt end.
On the other side of the ground, the old stand has been cleared to make way for the latest five level 1000-seater facility
Groundsman Brian and his team have been hard at work on the pitch - on Saturday Eastbourne Borough officials were overheard making complimentary noises!
