The development of the Rec has been continuing as can be seen in these photos courtesy of fan Graham Bacon.
With the programme scheduled for completion before Christmas, the Club is aiming to achieve a League grading with a maximum capacity of just over 5,000.
The newly terraced entrance to the ground at the Bridge Road end looks out onto the 1,000 seater stand
The new stand will come equipped with 1,000 seats in Grays' traditional blue colour
Since these photos were taken half of the stand has been opened for fans and the Rec atmosphere of old is returning
