Football Association Hearing
May 16, 2008
Following a hearing between The Football Association and Grays Athletic late yesterday afternoon regarding the Ashley Sestanovich case, despite full legal representations being made on behalf of Grays Athletic, The FA have once again demanded that Grays Athletic submit full payment (less tax & National Insurance) by next Thursday, 22nd May 2008, or face full suspension from all football.
Chairman / Manager Mick Woodward said that he was bitterly disappointed in the FA's decision and cannot see any justification for paying for a player who spent 11 weeks and 6 days sitting in the dock of The Old Bailey; however, the money will be paid to The FA and we will be drawing a line under this bitter experience as we concentrate on building for the future
