Welcome to the first of our monthly updates, we are hoping to produce these on a regular basis to keep you informed of the progress both on and off the field at Grays Athletic.
The Club
The club have been very active in the transfer market since the end of last season with the introduction of the following players:
Sam Sloma
Stefan Bailey
Steve Arnold
Jamie Taylor
Charlie Ide
Rob Gier
Mark Molesley
Mark Haines
Stuart Elliott
Ishmael Welsh
The intention is to have a smaller squad than previously seen at The New Recreation Ground in recent seasons and looking at the quality of the signings we have made so far we are setting out our intention to improve on last season‘s results and final position in the table.
The ground is looking good and there have been some minor improvements behind the scenes to introduce the ability to offer Corporate Hospitality at the club, full details of the offers can be found on the main website.

Relocation News
Following a meeting with Thurrock Council at the beginning of June we were able to confirm that the relocation to Aveley Sports & Social Club has now been withdrawn, Thurrock Council were impressed with the Hub Concept that was shown to them and they agreed that this development would fit into their framework for the regeneration of the borough.
Unfortunately we are unable to disclose the location of the new Hub at this moment, there will be a joint statement being released during the week of 7th July 2008.
