The reserves joined the youth teams, their managers and families at a presentation evening hosted by Chief Executive Andy Swallow at The Academy last Friday night.

Highlights of the evening included a Most Improved Player award for Danny Swallow who broke into the reserve team early in 2012 and was the youngest player to feature in the senior setup last season.

Dan Daley was awarded the prestigious Player Of The Year narrowly beating Tim Conroy to the award. It really was the toss of a coin that separated the two players who have both featured in 20 games this season and impressed on a regular basis. Both players also featured in the 1-0 win at Ilford in the Essex Senior Cup with Conroy hitting the bar from range before being forced off with a hand injury.
