Home is where the heart is, or so they say and Grays Athletic will be hoping that is the case this Saturday as they face a Leatherhead side managed by former Premier League midfielder, Jimmy Bullard.
Blues currently sit at the bottom of the Ryman Premier League but such is the competitive nature of the division this season, a win for the home side will see them leap frog over the visiting Tanners and maybe clear of the relegation zone altogether depending on other teams results.

Leatherhead travel to Mill Field with 3 defeats in their last 4 games but that's not for the want of trying, they have scored 6 goals in that run of fixtures but have unfortunately also conceded 9 at the same time. Blues have a similar record from their last 4 matches. They have lost 3 of them despite scoring 5 goals, 3 of which have come from wide man, Ettiene Kabobola. Like Leatherhead though they have been leaky at the back with 10 goals going in the opposite direction.

Grays manager Jamie Stuart has looked to rectify that this week by signing experienced defender Terrell Forbes from Farnborugh. That wasn't the only signing Blues announced this week. Richard Paquette has joined from Metropolitan Police and could be just in time as fellow striker Lheureux Menga has a suspension upcoming.

So we know both teams can score, we also know both teams can concede, but what will happen when they meet? The sides drew 1-1 in the opening game of the season down in Surrey but a lot of water has flowed under the bridge since then.

Kick off is this Saturday, 3pm at Mill Field, home of Aveley FC.
