The History: There has not been too many matches between the sides. In fact last season was the first time that the sides have met in league matches. The home game at Mill Field finished 0-0 and later in the season at Imber Court, Grays run out 2-1 winners after a brace from Chris Benjamin. Apart from that the only other games are a friendly in 2009 which Grays won 4-2 and a league cup tie at The Rec in 1998 which Met Police won 2-1.

The Form: Grays played their last game on Valentine's Day and earned a 1-1 draw away at Bogey team Canvey Island. The scheduled game against Tonbridge Angels last Saturday fell foul of a unfortunately timed Friday night band of heavy rain giving The Blues an enforced rest.
Met Police will be playing their fourth away game on the trot against Grays and have not scored in the previous 3. Don't underestimate them though as the third game in that sequence was an impressive 0-0 draw at Dulwich Hamlet, a result that keeps The Police in with a chance of nicking a play off berth.

The players to watch: Manny Parry was again on the scoresheet in the draw at Canvey Island providing Grays with a big presence in both penalty areas.
Metropolitan Police despite a lack of goals in recent games still have the potent threat of Bradley Hudson-Odoi.
The former Fulham youngster may ring a bell to some Blues fans as he had a couple of spells with Grays in the Conference.
