Joe made one appearance for the Club under Julian Dicks in August 2010; a 2-1 win away at Maldon & Tiptree, before suffering an injury which ruled him out for much of the season.

He joined Tilbury at the start of last season, and played in both of Tilbury’s wins against Blues, scoring the equalising goal in the 2-1 win at Chadfields in January of this year. His last appearance for the Dockers came in last Saturday’s defeat at the hands of Blues.

The former Chelmsford City, Billericay Town and Wivenhoe Town player said after signing:

“After having an injury hit time in my last spell, I'm really looking forward to rejoining the club, and playing for Grays. We have a strong squad, and after speaking with the manager earlier in the week, I'm confident we can push for promotion”

His registration will be completed on Friday, and he will therefore be eligible for selection in Saturday’s match against Harlow Town at Rush Green.
