Leiston, Grays Athletic, Wingate & Finchley and Harrow Borough all maintained their unbeaten starts to the 2015-16 Ryman League season

However, Wingate dropped their first points, albeit having only from five games, after being held to a goalless draw at the Harry Abrahams Stadium by Staines Town.

But, considering Wingate had to play the final 30 minutes with only ten-men following the dismissal of Ahmet Rifat, they will be happy to get away relatively unscathed.

Leiston led through Gareth Heath`s goal after 25 minutes at Victory Road against Hendon. But the Greens had Sam Murphy dismissed on the hour-mark and any hopes of a comeback ended when Pat Brothers added the Suffolk side`s second in stoppage time.

It was ten-a-side at Champion Hill where Grays kept their unbeaten run intact against one of the pre-season favourites for promotion but the dismissals came right at the end of the game that saw Ashley Carew give Hamlet a 19th minute lead.

The visitors` in-form Dumebi Dumaka received a harsh second booking in the 90th minute. And seconds later it was 10 v 10 when Danny Waldren was equally unfortunate to receive a second caution. Then came Grays` late, late equaliser, Kenny Beaney heading home after a goalmouth scramble in the dying seconds after a long throw into the box.

There was another red card in the long-awaited return from suspension for Farnborough who were at home to struggling Lewes who have yet to win.

Boro brushed off their rustiness to win 5-1, taking an eighth minute lead through Bobbie Dale. But the crucial moment came around the half-hour mark when the Rooks had keeper Will Godmon sent-off for denying a goal-scoring opportunity.

Harry Williams converted the resultant penalty and the home side cruised to victory with further goals from Dale on 69 minutes and Williams, who went on to complete his hat-trick in the 71st and 79th minutes, Jordan Wilson netting a consolation for the visitors seconds later.

Canvey Island also won for the first time this season, 2-0 at the Prospects Stadium against Enfield Town who were another team to finish a man down.

Martin Tuohy bagged a brace for the Gulls in the 6th and 18th minutes. And any chance that Town had of getting back into the game virtually ended when they had Alex Cathline dismissed 12 minutes from time.

Burgess Hill Town beat the team who came up with them, Merstham, 2-1 at the Moatside Stadium.

It was the Harding brothers, Lee and Pat, who scored the goals for the Hillians in the seventh and eighth minutes, with a Tommy Hutchings reply just after the hour-mark.

Fellow promotees Brentwood Town enjoyed their best win so far as a Premier club, 4-1 at The Arena against Leatherhead.

Liam Hope`s 39th minute spot-kick saw Brentwood go into the break in front. But Martyn Stokes four minutes after the break and then a Jamie Guy brace on 64 and 74 minutes sealed the home side`s win, Kiernan Hughes-Mason netting a last-gasp consolation for the Tanners.

Bognor Regis Town won for a third time to date, seeing off Billericay Town 3-1 at Nyewood Lane.

Tom Derry shocked the hosts by putting the Essex side in front after just three minutes. Stuart Green gave the home side parity 16 minutes later and a Joe Ellul own goal gave the Rocks the lead after 23 minutes. Jason Prior then stepped up to ensure the points stayed on the Sussex coast with a third goal 10 minutes after half-time.

VCD Athletic picked up a second point of the season in a 1-1 home draw with newly-promoted Needham Market, who have yet to win too.

Paul Vines broke the deadlock to give the Vickers a 58th minute lead that Adam Mills cancelled out on 69 minutes.

Harrow maintained their unbeaten record from five games, but had to be content with just one point from a 1-1 Earlsmead draw with Tonbridge Angels.

Tom Phipp gave the visitors something to hold onto when he scored after just seven minutes. Boro eventually equalised with 20 minutes remaining through Lewis Driver.

Josh Casey scored the only goal of the game right on the stroke of half-time to earn Hampton & Richmond Borough bragging rights at the Beveree against Metropolitan Police.

And it finished all-square at Rookery Hill between East Thurrock United and Kingstonian.

The K`s were coasting when two-up after goals from Dan Bennett just before the break and Pelayo Pico Gomez on 69 minutes. But an own goal gave the Rocks hope five minutes later and a Lewis Smith penalty earned them a share of the spoils in the very last minute.
