Grays Athletic are pleased to advise that with Lamar Johnson suspended and Ben McNamara cup tied for tomorrow night, the club have signed goalkeeper Joe Simmonds.

Joe has impressed in training sessions with the team in the past couple of weeks. He has played for London Colney and Ware in recent years, after an initial spell at Billericay, and will go straight into the squad to play in The Velocity Trophy game at Hendon.

Going forward, Joe will be signing for a Spartan League Team on a dual registration basis, while still providing valuable cover for us.
