Blues Manager and Chairman answered questions from Grays Athletic Youth teams and parents on Monday evening.

The First team manager & Chair drop into the Coaches & Parents Q&A
The first team manager Jamie Stuart & Steve Skinner, the Chairman of the Board popped into the Youth Coaches and Parents Q&A meeting at Belhus on the 26.11.2018.
Jamie explained how and what he looks for when selecting players and his playing philosophies / strategies / formations. He took questions from coaches on how he closely watched youth players and coaches to help him decide. The recent inclusion of several youth players in the 1st team have defined his and Phil Sackeys (Head coach) wishes of having a clear transparent “pathway” for all youth players at all ages for development right up to 1st team level. Jamie expressed how pleased he was to see the many youth players who come along to support the team on Club Mascot days. Grays Athletic FC is a real developmental club for all youth ages.
Steve was on hand to take several questions about players, club finances and in particular how the plans for the new stadium are progressing. Steve re-iterated the importance of being a real community club within Thurrock and how we are doing everything we can to be a big part of the local area, with youth development being a massive part of the Board’s plan.

Steve sent a message to all Grays supporters to ask them to help however they are able to - to get that new stadium sooner - to secure the future of this great club going since 1888. #BringGraysAthHome
