1 week ago By GAFC News

Players and supporters came together for this years presentation of trophies

A packed Chadwell Village Hall enjoyed an evening of celebration featuring for the first time some younger Blues teams from the club's burgeoning youth set up. It was good to see first team players interacting with and presenting trophies to the youngsters.
The evening was hosted by club Chairman Steve Skinner

After presentations to the youth teams the first award for senior players saw 16 year old Callum Thompson pick up the April Player Of The Month award presented by Glyn Jarvis.

Popular keeper Lamar Johnson received an award for completing 150 games.

Young Millie Madgewick received the award for Junior Supporter Of The Year presented by her idol Ade Cole!

The Brian Page Supporters Young Player Trophy in memory of one of Blues most loyal supporters went to Kai Brown whose displays earlier in the season attracted a number of scouts resulting in a move to Ipswich Town. The award was presented by Brian's wife Chris.

Next up was the Supporters Player of the Year which went to striker Kieran Bishop again presented by Chris Page.

Manager Jamie Stuart was next up on stage when he thanked supporters and players for their efforts and support over the season and presented his Managers awards. His young Player of the Year went to Callum Thompson. Kieran Bishop picking up the Player of the Year, Kieran was also presented with the Golden Boot for his 30 goal haul last season.
