Two new Blues

Grays Athletic are pleased to announce the signings of James Bunn and Nathan Gordon this evening.

Bunn started his career as a youth team player at Tottenham Hotspur before an ankle injury hampered his chances playing first-team football. Subsequently, the striker went on to join Enfield.

Spells at Leyton, Boreham Wood and Bishop's Stortford followed before he returned to North London where he signed for Enfield Town at the start of the 2004/05 season. Bunn then went on to join Potters Bar Town, and in July 2005 endured an unsuccessful trial at East Thurrock United, eventually signing for King's Lynn in September 2005.

The former England schoolboy, has since had a number of spells at Harlow Town. This season, Bunn featured 16 times for the Hawks, scoring twice before departing in December 2011.

Winger, Nathan Gordon started out with Southend United's youth academy, before joining Tilbury's Reserve set-up in the summer of 2009. He progressed into their first-team before leaving in February 2011 to sign for Ilford.

This season, the 22 year-old has featured for Redbridge and scored seven goals in 32 appearances in all competitions - including a brace in their 5-3 loss at home to Enfield Town on 29 August.

Both players have featured against Grays for their respective former clubs this season.
