Young blues fight back to claim victory

The Grays Athletic U17s squad won their first game of the season on Sunday 14th September.
After a difficult start to the game, going 2-0 down in the first twenty minutes, the blues fought back to make it 2-2. . Billy Davis struck first to get the blues back in the game, followed shortly after by Louis Boon, who equalised for the young blues.
However it was short lived as just before half time the young blues conceded another goal to make it 3-2 before the break.

After a very constructive half time team talk by head coach Nana Broache, the blues returned for the second half and slowly took control of the game.
The final score of the match was 5-3 to the blues, with the goals coming from captain, Aron Thomas, and two from Joseph Broache.
The young goal keeper Josh Coster did a fantastic job to keep the blues in the game by saving a penalty.
This was a fantastic result for theGrays U17s, after their disappointing two all draw the previous week, where the blues had a goal disallowed.

Congratulations to all involved
