Grays Athletic under 18s go top of the EJA league with a 3-0 win over Brentwood Town

With Grays having Maltese returning to his best, but still without Fuller and strikers Louch and Reece with injuries the team put on a great performance against Brentwood town FC.
Playing a slightly different formation they took the game to Brentwood, with some solid defending from Casey, Ward, Kemp and recently signed Pollock they were always in total control, with Glock and Gardener holding the middle of the park, this allowed Osmond to push on and score a great goal followed by a header from Gardener making it 2.0 at half time.
The second half started as the first half ended with Grays playing some great passing football and should of had another couple of goals, with some great runs from Nicholson on the left and eventually finding Akinlade up front he calmly went around the keeper to make it 3-0.
All in all a good evening for the young blues.
