GRAYS Athletic are back to winning ways after a strike in each half handed them the points against Burgess Hill Town.
Bradley-Fortnam Tomlinson and Dumebi Dumaka scored the goals to boost Mark Bentley’s side after a dismal recent run that had seen them win just one of the last seven in the league.
Burgess Hill were sitting mid-table but had improved in recent weeks although there was nothing between the sides in the opening exchanges.
The home side were dealt an early blow when James Stevens was forced off with an injury and Montel Agyemang took his place in midfield. But Grays had the lead 10 minutes later.
Fortnam-Tomlinson scored the only goal of the first-half with a bizarre effort that seemed to be looping over the crossbar only for the goalkeeper to misjudge it and for it to drop into the net for his eighth goal of term.
But Burgess Hill showed some fight, with Pat Harding threatening in the final third, although Grays stopper Lamar Johnson was impressing between the posts.
But, with 12 minutes remaining, the game was taken away from Burgess Hill. Dumaka headed home for the 12th time in the league this season to make it 2-0 and end the contest.
