Grays Athletic have been drawn away to Billericay Town in the second round of the Isthmian League Cup. The match is due to be played w/c 17th October.

The Blues, who won the competition in the 1991/92 season last visited the New Lodge in July 2007 as part of their pre-season campaign; a match they won courtesy of a late Danny Kedwell goal. Surprisingly, it’s over seven years since the last competitive match between the two sides, with Freddy Eastwood netting the only goal towards the end of the 2003/04 season.

Elsewhere in the draw, holders Wingate & Finchley have been drawn away to Thamesmead Town, whilst last season's runners-up, Dulwich Hamlet, have been unlucky enough to be one of the four clubs who have to contest first-round ties. They will be at home to Division One South rivals Godalming Town and the winners will host another side from the same division, Burgess Hill Town.

Our landlords East Thurrock United have been drawn at home to Redbridge, whilst local rivals Tilbury have an difficult midweek trip to Lowestoft Town.
