The Blues host Aveley at Rookery Hill in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round on Sunday 18th September.

Grays Ath overcame AFC Dunstable 3-2 in the Preliminary Round, whilst Aveley play their first game in the competition.

Aveley currently sit 20th in the Ryman Premier Division, failing to win a game so far, having drawn four, and lost three.

This weekend's match will also include a bumper 64-page programme featuring an interview with ex-Blue and Premier League star, Michael Kightly.

The last time these two local sides met in the FA Cup was in 1985, in a Second Qualifying Round match at The Recreation Ground in which Grays Athletic ran out 2-1 winners.

The Millers have a few familiar faces in their squad, with Ellis Remy up front and former midfielder, Scott Canham as assistant manager. Donovan Wilson and Kieran Okungosa are also in their squad. In the current Grays squad, both Joao Carlos and Kenny Beaney have both had spells at Aveley.

Hakan Hayrettin has a full squad available for selection, with the exception of Danny Bunce who is serving a suspension for the red card picked up in the previous round.

Kick-off is 15:00 at Rookery Hill. Adults £8, Concessions £5, Children under 14 £1.

*Please remember season tickets do not apply to this match, and it is all pay*

Should the game finish a draw and have to go to a replay, this will be held at Aveley's Mill Field on Wednesday 21st September at 19:45.
