May 6, 2007 5:20 PM Under 13 Under 13s Win RT Tours Football Tournament. Grays Athletic U13s became RT Tours Caister Cup Champions, playing eight games in two days without conceding a single goal. The team had to dig in on the second day after getting off to a flyer on the first day only dropping 2 points out of a possible 12. But after a little wobble the boys responded winning there last group match 5-0 to take them into the final against Chase Side from Enfield London. The final was played at high tempo where Grays Athletic scored from a corner with a stooping header from Popoola at the far post. Grays held the lead to take the cup with a 1-0 victory. Paul Vaughan would like to say thanks to Alan Butler for all his help, to all the parents for their support and the players who played so well over the two days.
