As the Club moves into the final two months of the season, our finances are at a low point. Since losing the Recreation Ground in April 2010 and fighting a battle to get a new stadium, our income stream has been limited and is currently at an all time low.

Contrary to popular belief, Grays Athletic is not a rich Club. This year and next season the Club celebrates its 125th Anniversary year, and we need to get the Club over the finish line for the next two months before we can plan for the special year ahead. We are currently looking for companies/individuals who would be willing to sponsor a player’s travel expenses until the end of the season. We already have eight people who have come forward and very generously offered their sponsorship. These companies/individuals will all be included in our celebratory 125th anniversary game and events next season.

It is extremely hard for our leader, Andy Swallow, to keep the Club alive by himself, so any help would be very much appreciated. The financial contribution would be needed over two months and we are asking for £400-£600 per player each month to go towards the costs of fielding a team. We appreciate how hard it is financially at the moment, but any contribution will be gratefully received. We hope you can all make it to our Robert Dyas League Cup Semi-Final game against Billericay Town on 11 March and help the Blues progress to the Final next month and secure a place in our illustrious history.
