NEW SPONSOR ANNOUNCEMENT - THE OFFSIDE TRUST

Grays Athletic are delighted to announce that we have partnered with The Offside Trust who will become sponsors of our Matchday highlights and interviews for our YouTube channel that will form part of our social media presence for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons.

We are honoured to be working with Alan Arber and his fantastic team at The Offside Trust. Many of our supporters will know Alan and the team at the Offside Trust from our many visits from Alan both at home and away games

Club chairman Lee Vehit had this today on the new partnership: “Founded by survivors of child abuse in football, we are committed to ensure that the message set out by The Offside Trust is heard at all levels of the footballing pyramid, and that no child should become the victim of abuse through football. We are honoured to partner with such an important organisation”

Club Commercial director Steven Stuart has this to say

“As Commercial Director of Grays Athletic FC my primary responsibility is securing sponsorships to support our club and ensure we remain competitive on the field. However, every so often, we have the opportunity to go beyond just financial backing and contribute to something much more significant.

Our collaboration with The Offside Trust is not just about sponsorship, it is about making a statement. We stand firmly against all forms of abuse and wholeheartedly believe that no child should have to suffer in this way. By working alongside Alan and his colleagues, we can amplify this message to a wider audience and demonstrate our unwavering commitment to safeguarding and awareness."

The Offside Trust is an independent, survivor-led organisation dedicated to safeguarding children and young people across all sports. Founded by survivors of child sexual abuse in football, we they committed to supporting those impacted by abuse and raising awareness to prevent it from happening again. Their team works tirelessly to provide a voice for survivors, advocate for policy changes, and create safe environments for children through education and support.

The Offside Trust believe that no child should ever face abuse in sport, and they stand united in their mission to ensure that future generations can enjoy the positive impact of sports free from harm. Through collaboration with organisations, survivors, and communities, they aim to build a legacy of safety, trust, and empowerment for everyone involved in sports.
