Tony Stokes Joins The Blues

Grays Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of centre forward Tony Stokes.

Speaking to the club after signing Tony manager jim Cooper had this to say:
“Stokesey is a natural goal scorer. Upon receiving the news that Dennis Oli wouldn’t be returning, immediately Paul and I thought of him. His goals per game ratio is up there with the very best but his experience and work rate was also something that we factored into our decision. Although he is only 32, I am relying on him in to provide Callum Taylor and Warren Kayembe (Grays Athletic reserves) with an ‘Old Head’ to guide them in the right direction”
