The club's Defibrillator needs replacing. This is a vital piece of potentially life-saving equipment. However, it is an expensive piece of equipment and whilst we have access to the defibrillator stored at Parkside, it is Lauren's preference that we have one pitchside that we have responsibility for.

The club is able to purchase a new one from the Essex FA for a greatly reduced price of £834.00 including Vat (usual price £1,590.00 including VAT). Whilst we have a sponsor helping towards our medical and physio costs for the seaon, we would prefer not to use all of these funds on one item. Therefore, we would like to ask supporters, sponsors etc if they would consider making a donation, however small towards the cost.

Obviously, with the recent tragic passing of our former manager, Justin Edinburgh and the formation of the foundation in his name, there is a massive focus on making sure that sporting clubs are adequately equipped to deal with heart related emergencies and this has prompted us to review our provision of quality equipment for this purpose.
