Blues travel to meet Potters Bar Town on Saturday as they seek to end a run of four games without a win. The two sides met in October at Parkside where the Scholars ran out 3-1 winners and looked an impressive outfit playing attractive one touch football. Blues will have to be at their best to get a result on the day. However - significantly - they have won all three previous away encounters with the Scholars.
The Opposition
The Scholars have made a bright start to the season after returning to the Bostik League having spent the previous season in the Southern League following regional changes between the various leagues.
A 1-0 Boxing day derby win over Hertford Town saw them move into the playoff places. They are currently lying 6th having won 12, drawn 4 and lost 5 of their 21 games this season.Leading goalscorers each with 11 goals are Eoin Casey and Michael Murray.
In The Past
There have been seven previous meetings - Blues winning five and Scholars two. The first meeting was on the 23rd October 2010 at Rookery Hill with the Scholars coming away with a 2-1 victory with goals from Elvis Balic and Dennis Paratusic, Alex Osborn replying for Blues .
