Two goals in two minutes just after the break resulted in a share of the points for these two closely matched outfits. Blues had the better of the first period controlling long periods, only their final ball in the danger areas prevented them from going in at the break in front. It was a reversal of fortunes in the second 45 this time it was Coggeshall who had the better chances and but for a vital save in the dying minutes from Danny Sambridge they could have claimed the three points.

Building on last weeks performance Blues playing crisp pass and move football from the outset brought them a degree of control but after the break they resorted to hitting long balls or play was lateral or backwards starving wide men Brown and Joe Paxman of service. The Seedgrowers had worked hard to protect their goal restricting Blues but enjoyed a productive second half .

Sizing each other up the opening quarter it was attritional in midfield with little goal mouth action but Blues settled forcing the first corner of the afternoon.

Brown looking lively provided the first goal chance after a flowing move crossing from the flank finding David Knight hitting a first time shot straight down the throat of Mathew Chafer saving comfortably. Coggeshall countered winning a corner which came to nothing.
Brown was in action again when he turned, drove forward and unleashed a powerful drive that whistled past the upright with Chafer an onlooking spectator.

The Seedgrowers had their chances where Ibrahim Kehinde out wide looked dangerous, he found himself in space but failed to hit the target blasting over.

Blues buzzed around the edge of the visitors box but the decisive final ball was lacking, Coggeshall had their moments and would be the happier to go in at the break all square after dealing with the pressure on their goal.

A frantic start to the second half resulted in two goals in as many minutes. Coggeshall struck first, there was a suspicion of hand ball in the build up but Blues only had themselves to blame when they conceded possession needlessly . Kehinde was the recipient when he converted from close range past Sambridge on 49 minutes.

Within two minutes Blues were back on level terms winning a corner and for the second week Geoff Okonkwo touched home from close
range.

The goals result created a more open affair play, with play now switching from end to end with the visitors slowly gaining the upper hand and forcing openings. Blues were now playing long balls bypassing midfield without the same degree of success starving Paxman and Brown of service. Knight did manage to work an opening sending in a low drive straight into Chafer's arms.

A number of stoppages fragmented play but the visitors had the better opportunities , Jermaine Frances tried his luck with a shot on the turn and then a pacy run resulted in an effort flying over. The visitors nearly snatched a win in the dying moments but Sambridge came to Blues rescue when he managed to keep out a point blank header from a corner.

A draw was on balance the right outcome both teams enjoying mixed fortunes over the 90 minutes, the draw sees Blues drop out of the playoffs but still in contention with all still to play for.
