The History: Both sides have won this competition just the once so far. Hendon won back in 1977 and Grays won this cup back in 1992, thanks to a 3-1 win over Enfield at Dagenham. Since 1992 Grays and Hendon have met 24 times. Hendon hold the upper hand with 10 wins to Grays' 8 and 6 draws. This season Hendon won the only meeting between the clubs so far 3-2 at Harrow Borough FC where they currently groundshare.

The Form: Up until the weekend these were the top 2 sides in the league's form guide. Hendon let in a late equaliser to draw with Dulwich Hamlet and Grays were beaten away at leaders Maidstone United. In this competition, Grays defeated fellow Essex side Billericay 2-1 in the semi to reach this final. The goals courtesy of Jay Leader and Joel Nouble. Hendon reached the final by beating Margate, also 2-1, with an own goal and a Elliot Braithwaite strike.

The players to watch: Grays come into this game with a few cup tied players in the squad, this could mean an appearance by manager Mark Bentley could be on the cards. The 3G surface could also suit the dribbling ability of Grays winger Joao Carlos.
Hendon have been getting a few goals lately from midfielder Sam Murphy as their league and cup successes has seen a hectic end of season schedule. Also keep an eye out for striker Kezie Ibe.
