Blues come into the match on the back of two 1-0 away wins at Great Wakering Rovers and Cheshunt, whilst the away side have lost 3-0 at Enfield Town, but secured a fine 3-2 win at home to Needham Market last Saturday. A win for the home side this evening will leave them in third place, but more importantly just one point behind Leiston in second, and two behind Enfield Town who lead the way.
Harry Agombar is available for selection following his one match ban against Cheshunt; however, Bradley Thomas serves the second of his two-match ban for his sending off against Concord Rangers.
Lee Flynn is ruled out through injury, as is Grant Cooper who picked up a knock on Saturday. That will surely see recent signing Paul Olima lining up alongside Junior Baker at the back.
The corresponding fixture last season saw a 2-2 draw in October 2010. Simon Thomas gave the home side an early lead, only to be cancelled out by Matthew Gillingham. South Korean Hyun-Jin Lee put Redbridge in front before loanee Alex Osborn secured a point for Blues. Only three players that featured that evening are expected to play tonight, Junior Baker and Danny Bunce for Grays, and Redbridge skipper Glen Golby.
There was just one match in the league last night, and it saw Waltham Forest secure their first win since the middle of October, as they beat Waltham Abbey 1-0 at Capershotts. As well as our match, there is one other game this evening as bottom side Ilford host Maldon & Tiptree.
