The History: The statistics available to me provide a fairly even record for this fixture. It currently stands at 4 wins for Grays, 3 for Hampton and 7 draws. In recent times though, the results have tended to favour The Blues. In fact the sides have already met at Hampton & Richmond's Beveree Stadium twice already this season. Grays won a league game 4-0 back in August and then repeated the trick in November and won away in the FA Trophy, this time the score was 3-0. It must be mentioned though that when the sides last met at Mill Field, The Beavers come out on top 3-1 in March last season.

The Form: Grays Athletic should approach this game in fairly confident mood. Due to rearranged fixtures Grays had to face play off chasing Metropolitan Police twice in a week. After a narrow 1- 0 defeat in midweek, they travelled away and this time beat The Met 1-0 and became the first away side to win in the league at Imber Court this season.
Hampton & Richmond come into this game in 18th position in the league table and lost at VCD on Saturday. This result might have been particularly disappointing as it follows an impressive victory against Maidstone United during the last midweek games.

The players to watch: Grays goalkeeper Connor Gough has impressed lately and was voted the fans man of the match against Met Police last week. Left back Jey Siva supplied the shot that led to Grays winning goal at the weekend and both players are part of the defensive unit that kept a clean sheet on Saturday.
Hampton & Richmond's top scorer is Charles Moone. He currently has 14 goals and he is a recognised penalty taker and has scored 2 this season. He was also one of the scorers when The Beavers won at Mill Field last season.
