The History: According to the records available, the sides have met 3 times and they have all been away from home for Grays. Two of the games have been in the FA Trophy and the other one was the reverse fixture earlier in the season at Longmead in Tonbridge. The first meeting was in 1988 when Grays won 3-0. Fast forward to October 2014 and Blues picked up 3 points courtesy of goals from Dumebi Dumaka and Freddie Lapado in a 2-1 Ryman Premier victory. Angels avenged this defeat just a month later by knocking Blues out of the Trophy.

The Form: Grays come into this game on a 6 match unbeaten run in league games. They have 4 wins and 2 draws including their last outing on Saturday at home to VCD Athletic that finished a goal apiece.
Tonbridge currently sit just above the relegation zone in the league table so will be looking for a few more points to make the last month of the season a little more comfortable. They have been relatively hard to beat with 4 draws in the last 5 matches but they know that they could make the league position so much rosier if they could convert those draws into victories. Expect a tough game for both sides.

The players to watch: Since midfielder Correy Davidson has joined, he has excited fans with his pace and energy. He scored last Saturday against VCD and provided the pass for Carlos to complete the comeback against Hampton a few weeks ago. He has been carrying an injury but manager Bentley has still managed to get an hour or so each game from him.
Tom Parkinson found the net for Angels in the return fixture last autumn. He also got on the score sheet against Bury in Tonbridge's last outing on Saturday. Ex Billericay star Nathan Elder has joined Tonbridge on loan from fellow Kent side Dover. The 29 year old will give the Angels squad plenty of experience for the run in until the end of the season.
