Jake, 18 next week, was a youth player at Leyton Orient when he featured for Grays Athletic's u17s side managed by Andy Swallow and he also trained with the first team under Hakan Hayrettin.
Torquay United moved for the young defender and quickly realised his potential, offering him a professional deal in January this year. Jake has featured for the Gulls first team and been a regular in the reserves and has attracted interest from Bristol City as well as a number of premier league clubs.
Jake, who is comfortable as a central defender or right-back, is available immediately and is expected to travel with the squad to Leiston tomorrow.
