Young goalkeeper Jake Larkins has returned to his parent club, West Ham United, after they recalled him from his loan spell early.

Larkins joined at the end of September and played a big part in the two FA Trophy matches against Ashford Town (Middx). He then made two further appearances for the club, both in the league; the 1-1 home draw with Needham Market and last week’s 2-1 win at Cheshunt.

West Ham United have recently allowed Stephen Henderson to go on a 3 month loan to Ipswich Town, and as a result, fellow youngster Raphael Spiegel has moved up to the first team squad.

It is expected that Larkins will now feature for the Hammers under 21 Development Squad.

The Club would like to thank West Ham United and the player for agreeing to the original deal, and we wish Jake the very best for his promising future.
