The blues come into the game on the back of a 1-0 FA Cup clash against Hastings United. A 90th minute goal from in form striker Freddie Ladapo was enough to see the blues progress to the 3rd qualifying round. Following the FA Cup draw on Monday the blues were drawn against conference south outfit Bromley FC who currently sit fourth in the league. An extremely tough draw for the blues, Jody Browns boys will be hoping that the Mill field playing surface may help the blues progress to the next round.

Canvey Island currently sit in 13th position in the league and com into the game on the back of a 0-1 away win in the FA Cup against Burnham FC. This will be our 25th competitive meeting with Canvey. Two Canvey players will be unavailable Jay Curran and Tambeson Eyong are both suspended following recent red cards.

In what should be a great encounter at Mill Field Jody Brown will be looking to apply pressure on the other teams around them in the league with a win lifting the blues into a playoff place.
Glen Little looks set to be sidelined for 2-3 weeks with a suspected broken toe.
