It is with great sadness that we have learnt that former goalkeeper, Ron Ambridge, who played for Grays Athletic in the 1950's has sadly passed away.

Ron was part of the 1956/57 Essex Senior Senior Cup winning side, beating Ilford in the final.

To our supporters who may remember Ron's playing days there will be a service at Corbetts Tey on Monday 29th June at 12 noon.

Everyone at the club would like to send their condolences to the family of Ron Ambridge, his services for the football club will never be forgotten.
