We caught up with Hakan and asked him how the cold weather has affected things, and to also provide supporters with an update on the new players.
“The snow has delayed the start of February for all clubs and we’re no different, we've being training indoors and the atmosphere has been spot on.
“I would like to thank Leon Mckenzie and Dave Cowley for their efforts while being with the club, and like to welcome Nathan Gordon and James Bunn to the Grays family. It's no secret I've been after Nathan for a long while now and his direct play and pace will be a plus to us. James has experience which will be valuable to us.
“In recent weeks we haven't seen the best of our team but trust me you don't become a bad team overnight. Players will always have a turn in some point of the season but what they and you need is to be collective now in our efforts. Positivity is what is needed with a lot of points still to play for.”
Centre back Grant Cooper brought a friend training (see below photo), however the manager confirmed he wouldn’t be taking him on, adding “I’m not so sure about his ability on the pitch and think he may freeze on the big occasion”.
