I have just met with Jody and he was very sorry to leave the managers position at Grays Athletic. He will be at Monday's game against Barkingside but only as a spectator.

Jody has very kindly offered to bring his new club, Welling United to Grays as part of next years pre-season preparations.

Glenn Little will step in as assistant manager for our match against Barkingside.

The most important thing now is to take the next three games in good spirit and get some much needed points on the board.

There has already been a fantastic response to become the next Grays Ath manager, and I would like to thank everyone that has emailed and called the club, we will get back to everyone in due course.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and happy new year, and we look forward to seeing you at our next home game against local rivals East Thurrock United on Saturday 27th December.
