Grays Athletic u17s goalkeeper Jack Armistead is expected to be named in the squad for Saturday's FA Trophy match at Bury

The 16-year-old stopper has been with the club for four years and his continuing development has seen him have spells at Charlton FC and West Ham.

Jack has been included in the u18s squad for the FA Youth Cup games and has also been given valuable playing time for the u21s this season and he will now join the first team squad as cover for Lamar Johnson.

u18s manager Andy Swallow is confident the young 'keeper can do a good job if called upon and is "pleased that our youth system continues to develop players that can push for a first team place. We have two great goalkeeping prospects for the future in Lewis Greene and Jack Armistead."
