In a specially arranged friendly to assist with Stuart Thurgood's rehabilitation, Grays fielded an XI which consisted of both first and reserve team players and some trialists.
Charlie Stimson, son of ex-manager Mark Stimson opened the scoring for the home side within the first minute, but Brian Woodall equalised for the visitors before half time.
Also playing for Grays was Shane Defoe, cousin of the Spurs striker Jermain.
