14:10 – Looking back over my records, this is the first competitive fixture between the two sides since 2003, when Grays won 3-1 at The Rec in an Essex Thameside Trophy 2nd Round tie. Looking at the FA Cup matches between the two sides, this is the fourth meeting in the competition, with Aveley winning the first two 1-0 in 1976 and 1980. The Blues won the last match 2-1 in 1985, losing to Aylesbury United in the 3rd Qualifying Round.
