The Blues came back from 3-1 down at half-time to draw the game 4-4. A day before, the 'first team' recorded a good pre-season win at Ryman Premier outfit Concord Rangers, running out 3-2 winners.

Their attack has been bolstered recently with the signing of Joseph Afusi, who scored against them earlier in pre-season for Gillingham where he was on trial.
